MEPF Plant Scan to BIM with more than 20+ MEPF systems
Key Challenges
● Very few 360° images
● Incomplete & noisy point cloud
● Over 20+ MEPF services – many unlabeled or missing
● Upper level systems not even visible in the scan
● Some piping weren’t labelled and some didn’t even exist in the original records.
Key Deliverables
- Detailed BIM Model
- QC models to compare changes
We used custom in house QC tool that identifies the following within Revit:
🔴 Red: Missing items
🟡 Yellow: Out-of-tolerance elements
🟢 Green: Verified/No issues
